Lizette Botha
Lizette Botha is our infant- and toddler swimming specialist. She holds a degree in Human Movement Science (University of Pretoria) and was also a provincial athlete and -hockey player during her school- and university careers. She also completed three Comrades Marathons. She and Jean Fouace are the founder members of Amphibies Babies Africa™ and she also serves as project manager for the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation (South Africa). Arrie officially joined Kiddies Aqua on a full-time basis in March 2017, coinciding with the expansion of the business into additional branches and franchised outlets.
Armed with a degree in B Com Marketing Management (Honours) from the University of Pretoria, Arrie brings a wealth of experience and strategic insight to his role as co-owner.
With 29 years of corporate experience as a national-, senior and operational manager, Arrie’s career spans reputable organizations such as SA Breweries, Capitec Bank, Business Partners, and GP Retail Operations.
He is a qualified provincial swimming official (Northern Tigers Swimming) and served as President of Mpumalanga Swimming during their stay in Nelspruit.
Throughout his tenure in corporate South Africa, he garnered multiple national achievement awards, showcasing his excellence in leadership, strong salesmanship and management.
In his current capacity, Arrie act as CEO, overseeing the general and strategic management of the business, including finances, human resources, procurement, marketing and sales, shareholder and stakeholder relations, and the establishment of new company owned and other Kiddies Aqua franchised outlets.
He also spearheads social media and publicity campaigns and coordinates projects for the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation in South Africa, and as founder member of the African Children Aquatic Foundation (www.acaf.org.za) together they focus strongly on water safety and awareness programs, particularly in disadvantaged communities. His passion is to uplift and empower young children from these communities to accomplish the skill of swimming and eventually excel in the sport by become swimming champions.
